Day 8 of the 2023 BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells will see the start of the men’s and women’s singles quarterfinals.

Cameron Norrie, who won the title here a couple of years ago, will face home favorite Frances Tiafoe. The Brit is currently on an eight-match winning streak as he continues his march towards another title at the venue.

Aryna Sabalenka and teen phenom Coco Gauff are set to duke it out for a spot in the semifinals on Wednesday as well. Both players needed three sets to win their fourth-round encounters.

Daniil Medvedev earned a hard fought three-set victory over Alexander Zverev to advance to his maiden quarterfinal at the venue. It marked his 17th consecutive win and he’ll aim to keep the momentum going as he prepares to take on Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the next round.

Maria Sakkari and Petra Kvitova will clash in the final singles quarterfinal of the day. The latter saved four match points in the previous round to oust Jessica Pegula.
