BMOC Grind 2023 is the first major tournament of Krafton’s new season of Battlegrounds Mobile India esports. It will feature 32 invited esports teams in three stages, starting with Qualifiers and ending with the League Stage.

During the Qualifiers, the 32 invited teams will be split into four groups and play in a Round Robin format for four days. The top 24 teams will advance to the League Stage.

The top teams from the League Stage will go on to compete in the Grand Finals. The winning team will be crowned Champions of BMOC: The Grind, and receive 1.5 lakhs.

The BMOC Grind is a practice scrim that Krafton will be running before the online qualifiers for BGMI’s “Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge” (BMPS). It has three stages – the Qualifiers, the League Stage, and the Grand Finals.

As the Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC) season is kicking off, Krafton has lined up a few major tournaments for the game. BMOC Grind is one of them, and it’s an invitational tournament for professional BGMI teams.

The BMOC Grind 2023 will begin on March 31 with the Qualifiers, which will last four days. The 32 invited teams will be divided into four groups, and they’ll play in a Round Robin format for those four days.

Those teams that qualify from the qualifiers will then proceed to the League Stage, which will take place between April 7 and April 10. From here, the top 16 teams will advance to the Finals of the competition.

The prize money for BMOC Grind is INR 2 crore, the most for any esports tournament in India. It also includes a bonus of INR 315,000.

League Stage Schedule and format

  • The Grind: League Stage

League Stages: 24 Qualified teams from the Qualifiers will be split into three groups that will certainly deal with in a Round Robin format for four days. Just the leading 16 teams will get approved for the Final Stage.

  • The Grind: Finals

Last: Qualified 16 teams will certainly play 24 matches total in 4 days, and the group with the most points at the end of the last suit will certainly be crowned Champions of BMOC: The Grind.

BMOC Points table

The BMOC Grind is an eSports-driven tournament that’s held in three stages, including Qualifiers (which conclude today), League Stage, and Finals. The event is organised by Krafton and features a 1.5 lakhs prize pool.

The league stage is held from April 7 to 10, with the top 24 qualified teams taking part. They will fight in a round-robin format for four days, and the team with the most points at the end of each match wins.

Orangutan Gaming took the top spot with a total of 266 points, followed by Team SouL and Chemin Esports in second and third place. OREsports, TSM, and GodLike Esports also showed up in the top five.

BMOC Prize

The total prize money of BMOC Grind is 3,15,000 INR prize pool, and Distributed following the team’s overall placement.

BMOC Grind 2023 will see the top 16 teams battle it out for the title of BMOC Champion. Throughout the course of four days, the teams will play 24 matches on Erangel, Sanhok and Miramar maps.

The winner will be awarded Rs 1.5 lakhs, runners up will get 75k and the team on third place will win 50k. The MVP of the tournament will also be given a prize of Rs 40k for scoring the highest number of kills and damage.

The first stage of the BMOC Grind is Qualifiers, where 32 invited teams will compete against 32 qualified teams in a round robin format. The top 24 from this stage will then go on to compete in League Stage. From there, the top 16 teams will move to the Grand Finals.
