RCB are a team that has peaked at the right time. They are a team that can lift the trophy and have made it to the finals three times in the IPL.

RCB started their season on an encouraging note, beating KKR at Kolkata and SRH in Bangalore. However, their momentum was dampened by losses against MI and CSK.

They regrouped and secured a big win against Kings XI Punjab, riding on Chris Gayle’s century and a four-wicket haul by Sreenath Aravind. But then, they lost to Rajasthan Royals.

Despite failing to qualify for the playoffs in both years, this year’s campaign has begun well. A tight win over Lucknow in the Eliminator has set them up for a title tilt against Rajasthan.
