Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer is a versatile batsman. He is known for his aggressive batting style, which suits well with the Kolkata Knight Riders setup.

He scored 401 runs last season for Kolkata Knight Riders and is expected to continue his good form in 2023. He is also a handy right-hand medium pace bowler.

Venkatesh Iyer got injured in a Duleep Trophy game against West Zone at SNR College Cricket Ground on Friday and is now nursing an injury. He suffered a neck injury when West Zone seamer Chintan Gaja threw it back at him and hit him on the neck.
